Governor Rotimi Akeredolu sympathizes with the Nigerian Police Officers who died in Ondo

,the Ondo State Governor has sent a message of sympathy to the Nigerian police following the deaths of some of his men who died in a road accident on Tuesday.

The accident that took place on Tuesday along the Oba-Ile-Airport road in Akure, the state capital, killed two police officers and wounded several others.

Following the statement released by Donald Ojogo from Governor Rotimi Akeredolu:

“The scene was rather disturbing and quite pitiful as I got there shortly after it happened. It touches more when the victims were officers of the Nigeria Police who died not just in active service but on the line of duty.” “This is an irreplaceable loss, no doubt. Nonetheless, our solace can only be drawn from the eternal comfort that He Giveth and Taketh.” “As a Government, our hearts are with the authorities of the Nigeria Police as well as the immediate families of the departed. This is a shared moment and unfortunately so.”
