Reports: Pipeline Fire Outbreak in Abule Egba was successfully put out (photos)

A combined team of firefighters and emergency responders has put out the pipeline fire in Lagos State's Abule Egba area.

The government of the Lagos State announced this on Monday in a tweet.

Remember there was chaos in the Ekoro region in Abule Egba of Lagos State about 8 pm on Sunday when a pipeline belonging to Nigeria's National Petroleum Corporation exploded.

Three people were confirmed dead in the inferno, including a minor. Also, many houses were destroyed.

The Lagos state government tweeted: “After several hours of intense fire fighting by the combined teams of Lagos fire and other agencies, the fire at Ile Epo Ekoro Road, Abule-Egba Inwards Baruwa in Alimosho Local Government Area was successfully put out,” LASG's tweeted on Monday at 10.46 am.
