Eden Hazard explains why he dismissed Man United for Chelsea

After more than six years of service, his future at Stamford Bridge may be uncertain, but the love and passion of Eden Hazard for Chelsea is unmatched. In the summer of 2012, Hazard finished his switch to Stamford Bridge, rejecting both Man United and Man City for the Blues.

The Belgian playmaker continued to establish himself as one of the Premier League and the world's finest footballers. And looking back, the 28-year-old thinks he's made the right decision to join the Blues, admitting that his career might have been different elsewhere. The former Lille star also recognized the role played by Chelsea legends Didier Drogba and Joe Cole in settling for the Blues in an interview with the Guardian.

"For Manchester United, Man City, Tottenham I had a chance to sign, but I made the right decision," he told the Guardian. "I spoke to the owner and on the phone I had Didier Drogba and Joe Cole saying this was the best club for me," he added.

Despite being connected this summer with a move away, Hazard ruled out any chance of playing for either of the Manchester clubs. In his five-trophy haul for the Blues, he lifted two Premier League titles.

Meanwhile,it has being earlier reported that Real Madrid will unveil Eden Hazard on Monday, June 3, with all things being equal, reports in Spain claim.

In the Europa League final against Arsenal in Baku, Azerbaijan, Belgium International is set to play what might be his last game for Chelsea.
